  • Equipment Skills: Handling and maintenance of grinders, espresso machines, and brewing tools.
  • Grinder Calibration: Maintenance, grinding, tamping, dosing, and pouring espresso.
  • Beverage Crafting: Preparation of specialist teas, chocolate-based drinks, and chilled/iced beverages.
  • Milk Techniques: Steaming, pouring, and creating latte art.
  • Work Space Management: Efficient barista station setup and workflow optimization.
  • Troubleshooting: Problem-solving for common issues in equipment and preparation.
  • Customer Service: Best practices for engaging with and serving customers.

About the Class:

  • Theory Component: Completed and submitted online.
  • Practical Component: Attendance at all practical sessions is mandatory.
  • Schedule: Practical classes run 3-4 days, from 08h00 – 16h00.
  • Assessments: Includes a written summative assessment, practical exam, and submission of a Portfolio of Evidence.
  • Class Size: Minimum of 3 participants per session.
