Enrolment: Full-Time & Short Courses

If you’re applying to one of our culinary programmes (e.g. Chef, Cook, Food Handler, Patisserie, Barista), this is where you start.

🧑‍🍳 Purple Carrot School of Culinary Arts: Re-Registration for Occupational Certificate: Chef (343401100) / Cook / Pastry / Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Hand

  1. Submit your application (online or via form)

  2. Complete your interview & assessment
    You’ll be asked to provide:

    • Completed registration form

    • Copy of your ID

    • CV (1 page)

    • Highest qualification certificate

    • Motivation letter

    • Written assessment (done during interview)

  3. Receive your acceptance letter (via WhatsApp or email)

  4. Pay your enrolment fees

  5. Agree to and sign your tuition payment plan

✅ What’s Included in Course Fees:

  • Registration on National & International platforms

  • Practical training (includes ingredients and recipe books)

  • Theory classes

  • All printed materials (workbooks, logbooks, printed notes)

  • Uniform set (2 jackets, 2 pants, 2 aprons, 2 skull caps)

  • Knife kit – the tools of your trade

❌ Not Included:

  • Annual exam fees (invoiced separately)

  • Practical exam tickets (e.g. Chef Table)

  • Safety shoes (black, steel toe – no Crocs)

  • Accommodation, transport, visa or medical costs

  • Replacement of lost items (e.g. knife kits)

  • Trade test fees (paid directly to test centres)

  • First Aid Level 1 is compulsory for all students.
    💰 Additional cost: ± R1500.00

  • Wine Pairing Certificate is optional.
    💰 Additional cost: ± R1500.00

📌 All courses are invoiced on an annual basis and may be subject to an annual increase.

📢 Continuation in any programme is not guaranteed — it depends on student performance and successful completion of the Portfolio of Evidence (POE).
